Camera & Mike issues in Windows PC

I am using a Dell Laptop operating on Windows 10 Operating System. I am unable to use inbuilt Mike & Camera. A message appears that " Unable to detect Mike, Unable to detect Camera". A big disadvantage when i attend meetings on Zoom, etc. I am able to use an external Web Camera connected through USB port, but not happy with the performance. I am told, Norton 360 Deluxe Anti Virus may be preventing access to Camera & Mike / protecting the PC by preventing access to these devices. How to find if this is true & if true, how to enable Camera & mike in my PC. I have checked for any disabling issues through PC - Settings - Privacy -Camera access. No issues to correct / resolve . How to check if Norton Anti Virus has disabled these devices in my PC ?

GaRama. Are these two settings set in your Norton settings?

I have checked Camera & microphone selections in Windows settings. But the problem still remains. Could be a device issue. Thanks for the clarification.

Norton does not block the microphone and the Safecam component will only block specific apps that you specify.  When access to the camera is blocked, Norton will pop up a notification to alert you.  Have you checked all of your camera and microphone selections in Windows Settings?
