Can Comcast Norton Security Suite be set to not delete cookies?

I know that some tracking cookies are "bad" in that they keep track of your browsing history in order to target ads, etc. But some cookies are OK as they keep track of your web site log ins, preferences, etc. so that they don't have to be reentered each visit to a site.

When Comcast NSS performs a clean up of Internet Explorer it seems to delete all of the cookies. Then, when I revisit a favorite web site, I have to log-in again.

Is there a way to turn off the cookie deletion in Comcast NSS so I don't have to go through this process?

Thanks.

Hi Ed_in_OR
If you’re talking about excluding cookies from your scans all together then you can turn this off by going into your Settings > Antivirus and there should be Tracking Cookies, from here you can then set Tracking Cookies to remove ask me or ignore.
I’m not sure if the above is how to get to the settings and turn them off I’m sure someone will correct me here but if you just look around in the program you’ll find it!
Sorry I’m not on my computer at the moment to find the precise right way!

Hope this helps

Thanks very much. That was the setting I was looking for.
