I use old version of Ghost to rescue failed systems on Windows 98 machines for local schools in my area.
This was done by either a bootable floppy (if you can still remember those!) or a bootable CD. Each has a gopy of Ghost.exe (standalone version) that allows this to work fine. Yes it was legal to do this when I bought this version.
Now I need to do this for a NTFS system, and I require a later version of Ghost. From what I've read on here, one has to install the latest version to a system and (I assume activate the product as per the antivirus system). This is not practical, efficient or what I need for my users!
Does Ghost still exist in the style I require??????????????
