I know NAV usually uninstalls MBAM if it detects it upon installation but is it ok to install MBAM (not the pro just the on demand scanner) afterwards?

I will not bre renewing my subscription as well after this especially that Symantec is the only company that decides not to participate in mose these virus labs tests and that makes me worry that they are not certain about their product.
So I want to install MBAM on demand to scan daily as I am not sure anymore but I wont install it if its services will cause slow down or incompatibility with NAV
