Can I use Power Eraser to remove "deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com: https" PUP?

My machine is a Dell Inspiron 15 running Windows 7 home pro. It has NIS Ver. 21.6.0.32 installed on it. I have scanned with NIS, MalwareBytes, HitmanPro, and Spyware Blaster, and none of them identified this "deploy.static.akamaitechnologies" PUP as a threat. It starts running as soon as my computer starts and runs continuously while I am connected to the internet, uploading and downloading at around 1K to god-knows-where. Aside from the privacy issues, I am on a Verizon wireless modem 5 gig metered data plan and need to stop the useless data leakage. The only way now to stop it is to disconnect my modem.

Will Norton Power Eraser get rid of this for me. I have never used NPE. If not NPE, then can someone suggest a removal tool? Thank you in advance,
