I am interested in purchasing the Norton Utilities 14.5 but I want to run from the cd like you can with previous versions of systemworks. Can you do that with this version or do you have to install it?

I assume you dont have an option in the Utilities run the product from cd.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, Norton Utilities does require installation. There are several features on there which are tightly integrated into the OS, things such as registry clean, registry defrag and such which would not be advisable to run outside of Windows.
I also noticed that Symantec has dropped the price for NU Basic from $49.99 to $29.99, a $20 drop in price. I think it is well worth the price.
