I was using the Lavasoft Ad-Aware Anniversary Edition and uninstalled it about 2 weeks ago and ever since then there I have not been able to get rid of one aaw7boot.log regardless of how many times I destroy it.
So I look inside and I see that it is still active:

The dates are correct but the boot time is wrong for yesterday and today and my clock is in proper order.
So I just booted up at 6:00 A.M. but the log is recording 11:09 but not not noting A.M. or P.M. plus, at 11:09 last night I was happily sound asleep.
Now I'm am going to put a camera and VCR watching this thing to see if the screen lights up or LED lights blink while I am asleep. Thankfully I never leave my internet connection plugged in at the wall jack when I don't need it.
Whatever program that is leftover from Ad-Aware AE that is doing this boot cleaning is totally invisible, or, something clandestine is writing to the file name C:\aaw7boot.log to divert attention away from itself.
Further suspicion is that I'm under the impression that when Ad-Aware boot scans it creates a new logfile with unique date and time stamp at:
c:\documents and settings\all users\lavasoft\ad-aware 2007\logs
which doesn't exist on my comp.
Not only that, I would like to know is when it is 6:00 A.M. US Central time, where on the globe would it be 11:09? That would surely give two locations as if some clandestine program may doing this but yet is calculating the time of that zone in the log instead of US Central time. That may or may not be a hint to the source or I could be paranoid which round about now either is possible. Lol.
I even put the contents of this post into that log file and saved it and rebooted.
Right at the bottom was added:

I rebooted at about 8:20 A.M. in comparison to the 13:19.
Any suggestions?
