Can not run scan on Norton

Good evening,

I have the same problem.... I have today find out that my Norton does not want to open. Literally when I click on any icon of  Norton such as "run quick scan" or "run liveupdate" it just doesn't react. Nothing happens. I think I bought (renewed) my 1year licence around November 2011 so there cannot be a problem in this direction. I actually now remember that already couple of days I didnt "hear" from my Norton as it is not even running in the backround as it normally does. It seems like as if it would be disactivated somehow. Please can somenone help me in this matter?

Thank you in advance

Dear Dick,

thank you for your quick reaction. Please move post anywhere you would like to - I appologize for wrong placement of my question. I am not acquainted with the rules here.

I run windows 7 professional and I shall have Norton Internet security.

Jamart,

The location is fine. I just wanted to separate your responses from the other users so that I/we don't confuse you with our questions and answers.

Is your copy of NIS 2011 or 2012? and how was it installed?

Thanks
