Does new machine have pre-install trial security solution?
Did you properly remove any pre-installed trial security solution?

I get to the download manager and it won’t go any further. It says it couldn’t find this item. It’s no longer is located in C: Verify location and try again. It’s there but when I click on the installation files it says it was successfully installed.

Yes I uninstalled McAfee

If you can get installer to run/install - you’ll likely need to run Norton LiveUpdate a few times with a few machine restarts
