Can the Password manager be setup for 3 different accounts for Family - how?

Hi All,

Im new to Norton and all its features and purchased the option for 3 machines for family use. The install and downloading of Norton Antivirus to the other 2 machines in the family is done by sending a link from the main account (mine) to their email account which is fine. But how do I setup the password manager to be unique for everyone - I am assuming I have to use my credentials (account) to login but how do they setup a unique password manager for their own content? Hope my question makes sense but appreciate any help and assistance. Thank you

Hello @RomanJ_Reznicek

No need to share your Norton account credentials.
Norton Password Manager users create their own Norton account…create their own vault.
Norton Password Manager users use their Norton account credentials…with their vault… with their vault password. Note: user A vault does not sync with user B vault.

Norton account is free. Norton Password Manager is free.
Norton subscription is not needed. Norton subscription sharing does not need Norton account sharing.

Hey GURU !

I’m in a slightly different situation. Here is part one.

I have 1 computer - I am converting to 3 computers due to Win 11 - 1 laptop, 1 work, 1 gaming. I have 1 computer with a Norton account. The laptop has 360 on it, without password manager enabled. I would like all three to have access to the same vault. Can I simply set all three computers up the same way using the same Norton account (userid & password) or do I set up three different accounts - one per computer - and then grant access from a deemed master account ?

Hello @NEWBIETWELVE
I may not be understanding…your message.

Please do not share your Norton account credentials.

No need to share your Norton account credentials.
Norton Password Manager users create their own Norton account…create their own cloud vault.
Norton Password Manager users use their own Norton account credentials…with their own cloud vault… with their own cloud vault password.
Note: user A cloud vault does not sync with user B cloud vault.
Note: user A cloud vault syncs with user A cloud vault…across any computer/device.

Norton account is free.
Norton Password Manager is free.
Norton subscription is not needed.
Norton subscription sharing does not need Norton account sharing.

Norton Password Manager cloud vault is not tied to a computer/device.
Norton Password Manager credentials sync to any computer/device that uses the same Norton account credentials + the same cloud vault password.

If these are all going to be for your use, then yes you can setup the Norton Password manager on each and use the same Norton Account logins.

If they are for different users, probably best to use the information from bjm_ above.

Hey, yeah makes sense. Each person would need their own Norton account to have their own unique password manager vault. If they use your login, they’ll see your vault. Best way is to invite them as separate users under your subscription so they can create their own Norton accounts and link it to your plan

Norton Password Manager cloud vault does not require Norton plan subscription.

Norton account is free.
Norton Password Manager is free.
Norton plan subscription is not needed.
Norton plan subscription sharing does not require Norton account sharing.

for example:
anyone…may set up Norton account/s that are not linked to any Norton plan subscription.
anyone…may set up Norton Password Manager cloud vault/s that are not linked to any Norton plan subscription.

Caveat:
as I recall: Japan is an exception regarding Norton Password Manager not requiring an active Norton subscription.
