Any idea how to close my Community account please ?
Had enough of Norton Recent upgrade without notification and spent too long trying to sort out issues as a result of their unwanted / uncommunicated upgrade so going elsewhere.

Hello Barry. Its sad hearing you are moving away from Norton. Personally, I do understand your frustration as I too have had my share of issues this past year. Conversely, I also believe staying the course allowing Norton to iron out its issues is more prudent than removal of all Norton data. Which cannot be reversed when done. IF, you are interested in reverting back to version 22.24.8.36 as I have, AND, staying on that version while also, keeping your virus definitions up to date. I will be more than happy to assist you with that. Just ask!!

Wise advice, I will stick with Norton solely for the Anti-Virus benefits but Backup to Cloud service is now flawed so have gone back to iDrive as I need it to be consistent and reliable.
I can not seem to change my email address on file for the Community board so need to just close my Community logon (can not find how to do this) and will then re-open using another email address
Awesome news!! Follow this article to change your e-mail address within your account. That should tie your new e-mail address to the forums as well. If unsure chat with support to ensure they get things right for you. As a Guru, we cannot change account information for users here on the forums. I wish we could, making things much speedier and simplistic for everyone. Please post your progress so we can follow up again.
As posted before. Your e-mail within your Norton account is also the e-mail used when registering on the forums. Change it in your account and both should synch.
