I can download Norton Family from the Amazon store apps from my brand new Kindle Fire tab. Whenever it starts on the Kindle I get a message that the product is open source and may need a third party authorization. If I try to go to the family.norton.com and sign in with my account, the Kindle attempts to pull the app from Google, but in the Kindle there is no designated Google Play account for my Kindle.
Hi! I can only add that I am disappointed as well. I have several Fire Tablets and would love to be able to install Norton. I have used Norton for ages and it doesn't work on Kindle Fire? That is a big market you guys are missing out on, as millions of Fire tablets have and will keep being sold.
I agree, you need to support the Kindle. We have 4 of them in our house. If you aren't going to, at least say that in a large font on your website. Android implies Kindle, so it's misleading and annoying.
This is incredibly disappointing and frustrating! Locking down the kindle was the entire reason bought your software. There is even a setting in the kindle to enable app usage data. Why would semantec turn their back on so many parents? I will be requesting a full refund and hope that other potential customers find this forum before they waste their time or money.
I have 4 kids with 4 fires. I use Family on their phones and it works great but I cant add their Fire's. All I need to do is turn ON App Usage Access, and it should work. Why cant you guys fix this? There are millions of these devices out there. Come on, step up!
