I've been busy all morning trying to get a PC running XP to accept a connection from Remote Connection VPN.
I tried adding rules to allow ports relating to VPN to pass through, but nothing appeared in History. If I disabled Smart Firewall I could connect instantly.
I eventually tracked it down to ...
Settings > Network Settings > Smart Firewall > Advanced Settings
then turned off Stealth Blocked Ports !!!
