Cannot delete a login from the Norton vault

I am trying to do a clean out of old logins with Norton, using Chrome browser, logged into the vault, if I click on the dustbin, it asks for confirmation, I click Delete but the login stays put. Tried logging out, restarting PC, tried different logins to delete, same result, nothing deletes & the number of logins remains the same.

as test: Chrome 141.0.7390.123 + NPM 8.2.4.969

Were my machine.
I’d Restart (not Shut down) machine. No joy.
I’d sign out - sign in Norton Password Manager. No joy.
I’d try Edge or Firefox. No joy.
I’d remove reinstall Norton Password Manager.
