Cannot delete back up sets in explorer or Norton 360 v3

I don't want to but more storage cause I have 27 Gigs worth and only using less than 10.

But Norton 360 says I have run out of space and I cannot delete them from Windows explorer like I am supposed to and trying to manage back up sets through Norton is a very painful experience and doesn't seem to work for me.

Can someone help.  Even if it is just to delete everything and start again

Thanks

Hi greid, welcome to the Norton Community :-)

Please try following scott_moen's instructions (message #6) over here:

http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=Norton_360&thread.id=21672

Please notify me of the outcome - thanks :-)

I have read that post and tried these methods, they do not work for me.

Had this problem for about 3 weeks now and spent over 10 hours trying to fix, with no improvement at all

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with deleting your backup sets. As scott_moen has indicated in his post, you will have to contact a Symantec employee who can help you. Please do the following:

Send Tony_Weiss an e-mail (via his profile page) containing the following information:

-description of the issue you are experiencing

-your Norton Account information

-Norton product version

-version of your operating system

Tony will help you delete your backup sets. Please be patient as this might take a little time due to time zone differences and because it is Sunday. Also, continue keeping me updated. Thank you :-)

EDIT:  edited link to Tony Weiss's profile - it should work now. Sorry about that :-)
