I have a car Safety Camera warning device that is updated by downloading a file to PC from the company.
Never had a problem with it before, but the latest file just gets deleted by Insight on the grounds that 'it hasn't got a reputation'
The file in question is DeltaUpdate.exe from Novus (UK).
It's the Novus Delta download from http://www.novusauto.com/download.html
I've resorted to downloading it at work and firstly using Sophos to scan it which can't find a problem. Next step will be to scan it with Norton manually at the weekend.
If it's safe what is the route to stopping it getting deleted at download (and presumably without it getting scanned before deletion)?
