Cannot get time limits to work

i've turned "time supervision" on.

I've chosen a daily limit of 2 hrs per day on weekdays and weekends.

I've chosen "count only the amount of time __ actively uses the computer".

I've chosen "automatically lock __ computer".

I saved my settings.

I let the kid was on the computer for more than 2 hrs and it didn't lock him out.  I checked his activity and it hasn't recorded any activity today.

What happened?

Hi portlandlisa,

Do you see the Norton Safety Minder icon, a dog paw in the system tray active (not disabled)?

Do you see the child's profile online is protected (in green)?

Please also make sure the child doesn’t log onto the PC using a account that is not being monitored.

To avoid and limit the possibility to tamper/disable the system, please give non-administrative rights (limited or restricted) to your child’s  user account.

Thanks,

Katie

thank you for your response.

Norton Online Family is active in the system tray.

2 of the children's profiles appear to be protected, but 1 is not - i've gone through the settings and can't find anything different about this profile.

None of the children have administrative rights.

Still not tracking their time usage.

portlandlisa,

Is the profile that is not protected associated with the child's Windows account?

Please make sure you have associated all children’s Windows accounts with the children’s profiles online.
