Cannot remove Norton Family

Hi,

I cannot remove Norton Family from a PC, and because I cannot remove Norton Family, I also cannot run the Norton Removal Tool to remove Norton 360.

The error I get when I try to remove Norton Family is:

Connection with the Norton Family server failed. Verify your Internet connection and try again.

There is nothing wrong with my Internet connection.

Furthermore, on virtually every other Norton Family I've removed, it works even when you disable the Ethernet connection. In fact, it doesn't ask you to log in or download any error reports, it just does a removal.

But on THIS PC, it does NOT work regardless of whether the Internet is working or not.

I need a way to force the removal of Norton Family, please.

Because the last time I checked, this PC does not belong to Norton, it belongs to me, and I will decide what software runs on it.
