Cannot restore local backup

bakup done on local drive

backup files existing and visible

Trying to restore backup I constatly get the message that there is no backup existing

Called Norton help line, did remote session, they have no glue what the reason might be, no second level help response since weeks

Did you test external drive health?
Did you try Restore against one file…as test?

fwiw ~ as test: external SSD

for example:

Choose location → Test Restore folder
