Cannot scan using quick scan, red error says error in scan

Issue abstract: cannot scan using quick scan. it says error in scan in red colour and cannot proceed

Detailed description: i recently uninstalled and reinstalled Norton 360 as it has been giving me lots of problems with my win 10 pc and keeps corrupting and causing pc to auto shutdown and cannot restart or boot up. then i installed then i click quick scan but cannot scan and red alert error said error in scan and stops and cannot proceed. i restarted many times.
