I understand there are many posts on this topic and believe me, I have read most.
Here is the issue.
I have what is called Norton Security Suite. It is provided through Comcast. This is all the info I have as to what version it is:
Product Name: Norton Security Suite

I cannot find ANY support ANYWHERE for this.
I can play my XBox 360 just fine online. But when I try to stream movies to it, I can only do so by disabling the NSS firewall.
I am very computer savvy and am surprised at the amount of time I have spent looking through this NSS to find how to make an exception for the XBox.
As far as I am concerned, or know, there is none.
I run WinXP SP3 with Win Media Center 11.x
I have tried everything I can think of under the firewall settings, and elsewhere.
Does anyone have ANY idea how to go about this?
I use a Belkin router. It is not the problem due to the fact the XBox is wide open in it and, again, can play multiplayer online.
It is definitely the Norton firewall.
I have spent an inordinate amount of time scouring the net for how to fix this. It just seems not many people have the EXACT same setup as I do, trying to do the EXACT same thing.
If any further system info, etc is needed, I will be more than happy to post.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or whatever your cup of tea is,
Shawn
