I have the latest version of Norton 360 running on Win XP Pro - fully updated.
My online storage was working and I could access it.
Now I can't - I think this is since I updated to the latest version of Norton.
I can log in to my Norton account, so I know I am using the correct e-mail and password - but Norton 360 asks me to activate my on-line stoprage. I enter the e-mail, then my correct password, and the original "Activate now" window reappears.
I am using the Norton DNS addresses on my network connection.
Thanks for these instructions, which seem to have solved the problem.
A few comments:
1. The instructions are very clear for Windows 7. But I have Windows XP, which means the files are located very differently. I know enough to find them, so that's OK, but not everyone does. When I did, I found three folders to delete, not one.
The location of "Tamper Protection" isnl;t gicen in the instructions either, and it's not that easy to find.
Better instructions needed, particularly for users of XP etc.
2. Your original e-mail was marked as spam by G-mail, so it was some time before I got it.
Thanks for your help
