Cant access www.paypal.de

Hello guys,

since the last updates its not possible to access www.paypal.de from a local device. If I use the client (Win 10 - 64bit) without Norton 360 I can access the Website. If I use Norton VPN an another country I can access the Website too.

But I cant access the website with Norton 360 without VPN. What happened since the last Norton update?

24-08-_2020_21-04-09.jpgI have called the Paypal hotline and I got the feedback that the security software is the problem. The hotline employees have a lot of customer every day with that problem.

What can I do? Did we get a fix?

  • Get ERROR "Access Denied"

with my uBlock Origin = Off

Maybe,
try ad blocker - content blocker off
try clearing browser cookies and cache

try flushing DNS cache

try changing DNS resolver

try machine Restart (not Shut down)

I tried to open https://www.paypal.com. I dont use favorites.

Just tested and see the same resolving to https.

Note the difference in the URL in MC_RUDE's post and bjm_'s post.  HTTP vs HTTPS. 

MC_RUDE  If you are accessing the Paypal site from a browser favourite, or some other stored link, check that is is linking to the https link.
