I'm using Windows 11 desktop and the Edge browser. When I go online to the Norton 360 alerts and notifications page, I see my new notifications and also several old notifications going back to 2016. They are "credit activity alerts" from one or more of the credit-score services. I don't have an option to delete them but want to get them off the page. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I just managed to get through to Lifelock chat and apparently it isn't possible to delete these alerts. The solution I was offered was for them to deactivate the alerts so that it still monitors but doesn't alert. Clearly this isn't a solution as it renders the feature superfluous. Why not just set the thing up so that it works properly in the first place and users can delete the alerts once they've been read? I'm really surprised they haven't made it a separate feature for which you have to pay extra, as they've done this with several other features that used to be part of the plan.
You can't delete Dark Web alerts as reading them does not put them into archive. You can't get any support for this defect either, it's just yet another piece of Norton that doesn't work properly.

Can you remove this event from the credit reporting bureau?
