Can't Disable Norton 360 Gadget

The Norton 360 gadget won’t run on my Windows 7 64bit.  No big deal, but I was able to easily disable it in Version 5, I think from the Quick Controls pane, but can’t figure out how to disable it in the new Version 6.  I’m probably just overlooking it, so f someone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.  Just way too much trouble clicking that X every time Windows restarts, don't you know.

Hate replying to my own post, but need to make a correction.  After a second reboot, the gadget in v6 is actually working correctly.  I was never able to get the one in v5 to work and made a premature assumption about this one, I fear. So, I now have no need for an answer as I am totally satisfied with its display.  Sorry to be a bother, guys.

Hi,

No bother. The problem is solved and all is well. :smileyhappy:

Glad you were able to resolve it without outside help.

Did you ever get an answer to this question? I'm getting real tired of having to (X) the gadget everytime I start W7 64b. It just keeps coming back, like a bad habit. If I have to change from Norton to get read of it I will.

Thanks
