Can't get out going email

Hi, please help a struggling newbie.

I have just moved to Windows 8 and am using Norton 360 V6. I can't seem to be able to send any outgoing email. When I send an email it moves to the outgoing mailbox and then into Drafts without going anywhere. I get no messages indicating a problem.

I seem to be getting incoming mail ok, do I need to change anything ?

Was your move to Win 8  a fresh install or did you upgrade over Win 7?

 

You need to check your server settings in your email program. Pay special attention to your Outgoing Server settings. Check with your ISP to see what you need to enter there.
