Issue abstract: Windows 11 Home, have Norton 360, but get error 45056 not compatible with operating system when i try to download my subscription for Norton Utilities Ultimate.

Detailed description: I had no problem downloading 360 on my new Lenovo laptop, but when I tried to download Norton Utilities Ultimate (as well as the driver update utility) I keep getting Error Code 45056, not compatible with my operating system. I have Windows 11 Home, processor is Snapdragon Elite, which to my understanding, should both be compatible with the Utilities Ultimate subscription. I have tried removing and reinstalling 360 (with no problems) tried redownloading several times UtilUltimate but get the same error code every time.

Product & version number: Norton Utilities Ultimate

OS details: Windows 11 Home

I should have come here long ago instead of pulling out my hair over this. Its disappointing, but I shall survive!

One thing to note is there actually isn’t a need for a 3rd party program to run the scans on a modern computer such as one based on Windows 11. Most new devices are equipped with SSD drives, defragging an SSD is extremely destructive to SSD drives. Windows will perform “Trim” on a regular basis on its own to keep things running smoothly. Just my suggestion going forward.
