Error Code 111111. Any resolutions?
@Jeffery_Rimmer What is your version of Windows, its version and build?
Restart the computer and see if there are any maintenance tasks being done such as a Windows update since that can cause the issue you are seeing.

Any update on this? I am trying to install on Windows 10 and I am getting same message. I have uninstalled previous Norton software and rebooted multiple times. Had Norton remote access and they tried same things I tried and was not able to get it to install. Gets to 97% then I get the 111111 error code.

Here is some AI generated information regarding the error code you are both seeing: Note that AI is not 100% accurate on all the topics it creates. Are you both 100% sure the error code is 111111 and not a typo? Just asking for the sake of clarity.
The Windows 10 error code 111111 is not a standard or widely recognized error code. It’s possible this is a typo or a custom error code used within a specific application or software. Without more context, it’s difficult to pinpoint the exact cause or solution. However, there are general troubleshooting steps that can be helpful in resolving software-related issues.

Was trying to install on someone else’s computer so not sure of version or build of Windows 10. All it said was error code: 111111 so not sure of much else. Tried multiple times and got same error code.
Be sure your systems are not in S mode.
If it is in S mode you have to download Norton from the Windows App Store.
Yes, I have that too, but everything is installed. Just start it up and log in to your account. I think that’s the part where it wants to log in to VPN and backup and configure the web stuff.
Bug, I think. Everything else has been working
Like this for about 3 versions?
I have Windows 11 Canary 24H2 27943 as my main system.
@EynMarc Your install of Windows 11 is a Canary Insider build and considered BETA by Norton. Norton does not guarantee its products will function correctly with BETA OS installs due to their nature of bugs and constant change.
@Steven582 @Jeffery_Rimmer @ThomasM_Smith1 The error 111111 is not a standard error code that I can get a reason for to explain as I posted earlier in the thread. Please advise whether your installation of Windows is ALSO an insider build, running in S mode, and/or your are running an ARM processor. Additionally, if you are not up to date with Windows Update please get the latest and post back any changes you may see for us to assist further.

I just renewed my license but tried doing a clean install and ran into the same issue. I tried deleting the folder out of Program Files and everything but finally figured it out. Right click on the .exe and select show more options and select run as administrator. Finally got past that message. Good luck.
