I upgraded to Norton Security (I had Norton 360). Upon installing the new software, Norton Identity Safe won't accept my vault password. The hint it gives me is for a password I used to use years ago, but it won't accept any of the various passwords I've used. I've checked that it's not an issue of Cap lock key on or NumLock. I'm sure I'm using the vault password, not the Norton account password.
I've had a great deal of trouble with Identity Safe passwords before. Sometimes I'd have to enter the password 3-6 times before it would finally accept it, and I'm 95% sure I wasn't typing it wrong the other times. I've never been able to get the mobile version to work on my iPad. It simply wouldn't accept the password there.
At this point, I'd just like to be able to get back into the vault to download a csv file so I can use a password manager that I'll hopefully be happier with.
I'm using Identity safe that's part of my Norton Security product. The version is 22.2.0.31
