About 6 weeks ago, I had a support call with Symantec after trying unsuccessfully ot log onto the new online security vault for Identity Safe that came with NIS 2013. The support guy took control of my PC, removed NIS, reinstalled it, and generally faffed around for an hour or so until he admitted defeat. He said it was a known bug and that I shoudl try again in December. Well, it's nearly January and I still can't log in.
I enter my email address and it gets recognised as an existing account. I enter my password, a small red triangle momentarily appears to the right of the password and I'm back to being asked for my email address.
If I log onto my Norton account and follow the steps for downloading ID safe, after a few clicks, I am back at the email address/password loop.
IDS is the main reason I found Norton useful compared with other security products. Right now, the USP has gone and there's no sign of it being restored.
