Can't log into Mobile Security from Android phone

From my PC I changed the name (email address) on my Norton Mobile Security account. Now, I can't log into the account from my Android phone. The old email address populates automatically in user field but I can't change it to the new address, and therefore can't log in.

Hi rch847 - Welcome to the Norton Community.

This sounds like more of a keyboard app issue or a device issue than a Norton Mobile

Security app issue.

One thing to try with the Norton Mobile Security ( NMS ) app would be to uninstall the app

and then download and install it from Google Play ( GP ) as a fresh install and open the

NMS app and try to again sign in to the app, hopefully that will fix your issue.

If the above does not help then there might be a setting in the System Settings  Language

and Input Settings on your Android device where you can enable and disable predictive

text for the keyboard app that you are using so you can fill in the sign in section of NMS

without it auto filling the deatils of your old login info.

If you do happen to have and use more than 1 keyboard app on your device then it might

be worth trying a different keyboard app as the 1 you are trying at the moment may have

a compatibility issue with the NMS app..

I have had a similar issue with a keyboard app and a sign in procedure for a particular app

in the past and changing to another keyboard fixed the issue and sign in was successfull. :)

Included below are some really great keyboards from GP including the Google Keyboard which

is a great keyboard.

And if switching to a different keyoard app works with the sign in you can always switch back to

the old keyboard once signed in or just keep using the alternate keyboard.

Keep us posted and let us know how you go and if you require more assistance. :)

Cheers. :smileywink:
