I had a corrupted user profile that was preventing me from running Ghost 15. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall under another new user with Admin rights. The Control Panel uninstall could not find a .dll file and could not remove Ghost 15. I used Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 to remove Ghost 15. Now when I try to re-install, I get this message.
There's no reference to Ghost 15 in Add/Remove Programs any longer.

I did install the Win7 Norton Ghost uninstaller tool and I did stop getting that error message. However, the installation did not complete and now I get this error message when trying to install Ghost 15. I can't even see this key in the Registry even with Administrator rights.
That did not work. I tried the Norton Removal Tool ver 2011.0.0.15 the reset Registry URL. Neither efforts made any difference. I still have Symantec Lightsout Restore as a bootup option and I'm getting the same error message when I attempt an install. I cannot even see those keys in the Registry referenced in the error.
It's a pity you didn't archive a recovery point when all was well then it is a simple matter of restore. In my experience sometimes the work arrounds outlined in this posting works but when they don't one has to go back to basics. I know it is time consuming and stuff is lost but lessons can be learnt and beleive me I have learnt a few in my time.
The answere is to clear the drive, reload windows install all necessary software and back it up with Ghost as soon as you can, and yes it is a lot of work but worth it in the long term.
