About ten days ago Norton Lifelock notified me that I had an id/password exposed on the dark web. The user-id is my email address, and the password is masked out by asterisks. There are no links to reveal the password do the information is useless to me. Two attempts to get this resolved by customer service agents have resulted in no resolution and promises for callbacks by a "level 3 tech". These appear to be empty promises to get me off the phone. I am probably going to have to cancel my Norton subscriptions since it appears Gen Digital (the parent company of Norton) thinks robots on chat with canned responses that don't help and customer service agents that can't help is a good business practice. I think after ten days of empty promises and no resolution of my issue it's time to take my business elsewhere. A friend once told me "It's your money, vote with your feet".
Hello @PC
please post progress
The dark web monitoring won't show you the full password. At least you got notified about it. Now, why don't you change the password and do the right thing?
