I can't turn off automatic renewal for Norton Security Premium. The option is not there. What do I do now?
Norton has not done email support for many years not. It uses chat, phone, twitter and facebook.
Can you confirm from you are using the information here to try to disable Automatic Renewal. https://support.norton.com/sp/en/ca/home/current/solutions/kb20090818144126EN
And here is a video of how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAODwTlwwKw
Ok. Here we go.
I chatted with four agents yesterday: Manoj, Sandeep, Neeraj R., and Mohit. I took screenshots of my conversations with them. Several assured me that the Automatic Subscription Renewal had been turned off...which it hasn't (according to my current page) and it is currently set to auto renew again next August (8 months away). And, one told me that I would be reimbursed for the automatic renewal charge that happened last August (I won't be able to verify this until I get my credit card statement). P.S. Of the four different times I spoke with people on chat, three of them gave me the same 8-digit code that I was supposed to tell people if our chat ever became disconnected. If 75% of the people who use chat are given the same 8-digit code, how are they going to be able to pull up my own specific chat data again?
Can I speak to a different agent? ...via E-mail, maybe?
If you are getting close to the end of your current subscription period, the auto renewal settings get disabled because the renewal is about to be taken. You will need to contact Norton Support in this situation to ask them to turn of auto renew and try to intercept the renewal payment. www.norton.com/contactcs If using the chat option, as soon as you can enter information, enter "agent please" to get out of the chat bot and connected to a human.
