Can't turn on VPN on Windows 10

I can't turn on VPN. When I click on "Turn On", the software keeps trying for a while and then exhibits the statement "Your connection is unprotected" without connecting to Norton's VPN server.

Already tried the suggested solution on the Support website, but it doesn't solve the problem: Norton Secure VPN stays at "Connecting" and returned to disconnected state

My laptop has Windows 10.0.19044 Build 19044 and x64-based system.

I don't have other VPN providers and I have auto-Connect on, Kill Switch off and Auto VPN on on compromised networks. Firefall is alloing Norton Security on public and private networkds

Cannot turn it on at home, nor while connected to outdoor networks. And I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software.

Can you help me? I have tried many workarounds, without any success. If the problem persists I will cancel my subscription and install a different software.

Thanks.

If you got that message as you changed the settings, it could be normal. Did you restart your computer after changing the settings to see if things would work?

Still having the same issue. I will uninstall Norton next week, if the issue isn't solved.

I turned off all the connection settings for the VPN and couldn't connect either, but this time I go the attached error: "Attention required, secure VPN has experienced an error and disconnected. Please try again later".

I don't have the standalone Norton Secure VPN app.

I have already restarted my laptop, same results.

Thanks, any way.

If you are still seeing this issue, try turning off all the connection settings for the VPN and see if it will connect.

One other question. Do you also have the standalone Norton Secure VPN app installed along with Norton 360? If so, you should uninstall the standalone and just use the VPN feature of 360.

Also, be sure you are restarting your computer every few days at a minimum. Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

Sure.

Whatever region I choose, the behavior is the same.

But thanks.

Have you tried changing the VPN region setting? Choose another region from what is currently set.
