Can't type in product key

Hi, I was just having some trouble typing in my product key…I can’t seem to type in “u” and there are 24 characters in total. I’ve used this product key before on another computer and it worked. There’s nothing wrong with the keyboard. I can type “u” as many times as I want and i also tried typing the product key, copying and pasting it , to no success. Does anyone know what is wrong? Help would be very appreciated. (:

Try to activate it as a trial, then click on activate, and type in your subscription key. Try this several times, after a reboot too.
If that’s not working download the norton removal tool (www.norton.com/nrt) run it several times (2-3), and then reinstall your product.
You can download the latest updated product versions from here:
Norton Antivirus 2009 EN-US: www.norton.com/nav09
Norton Internet Security 2009 EN-US: www.norton.com/nis09

If you have already installed the Norton program in another computer, go to your Norton Account, check the Product Key, copy and paste the Product Key from there.

It’s NIS 2009, sorry for not mentionning that before… D: It is a 3 pc bundle. I’ve also tried copying and pasting the product key and that didn’t work either…

Contact Customer Service here; the chat feature is very convenient and fast.  They can help you get this straightened out.  Your key is not proper somehow.

Thanks for everyone’s help…I just realized that I was staring for several hours at my…Norton Utilities product key…Which is really embarrassing D: I found the product key for NIS 2009 and it works. But i just ran into a new problem…Norton is failing to update virus definitions, but can still update web protection and steaming virus definitions D:

Download the Intelligent updater and run it.  Reboot after that and then run a Live Update session to see if that fixed the problem.

The Intelligent Updater is available HERE .  Please read which one to download based on your product and Operating System.

I solved the problem. I just had too little space for the update to complete (It’s a 4gb netbook D: )… Thank you very much for your help.
