Hello, I tried to uninstall Norton Ghost since I dont really use it. At 1st, i went to Control Panel n uninstall it, but it won't work, then whenever I turn on my laptop, the uninstall window appears. While the uninstall process is running, an error 1720 appears. I downloaded the Norton Removal tool, It still can't uninstall Norton Ghost. What should I do now? Please help me, It really annoys me.
I did exactly what you told me and I even tried Modify and Remove, it still won't work. Plus, it appears error 1720 window and missing spnregister.dll file. Please help me uninstall this.
Try running the Fixinstall.bat file that is in the Program Files\Norton Ghost folder. Then see if it will uninstall. If that doesn't work try updating the WINDOWS INSTALLER.

Can you try a windows system restore to an earlier date or try a Windows 7 repair and then try an uninstall with the NRT.
