I have a 360 account but a family member purchased Lifelock. Is it possible to just change the product key on a PC and pickup the newer account or will I need to uninstall and reinstall. I'm not wanting to uninstall but if I can just change the key will all the product settings remain the same?

For your 360 installation, you should be able to just enter the product key from the new family product. That will save any settings you have in your current installation.
You will need to ensure that your current subscription is not set up for automatic renewal. And removing your payment information will ensure that there would be no more charges to your account. As noted, you will lose any remaining time on your current subscription when you make the change.

Please accept. When you say "account". I think Norton account.
LifeLock by Norton Individual/Family with Norton 360 is (in my mind) a subscription product/plan.
Since, your scenario involves different product/plan and you don't want to lose days and you presumably want to benefit from LifeLock by Norton Family Plan subscription entitlements and you may want your Norton account deleted/ended.
Note: you'll need your Norton account for your Norton Password Manager vault.
I'm still urging Norton support as best practice to get from A to B.
fwiw ~ I doubt you'll need to uninstall your Norton 360.

What Norton product/plan do you run? What Norton account is that product/plan tied to?
The license key used for your PC is presumably tied to your Norton account.
LifeLock by Norton Family Plan was purchased by a family member and that family member presumably has their Norton account.
Respectfully, I'm likely not understanding your scenario.
Norton Community (me) cannot advise best way to get from A to B Norton product/plan subscription.
Other than let your product/plan subscription expire and use another's product/plan subscription.
And always best practice to discuss all matters "subscription" with Norton support.
