I have a Norton 360 subscription for 5 devices. My win10 PC was really slow to start and Norton seemed to be the program hogging my disc activity. I had set it to not scan at boot time but still it kept me from working for over 15 mins. I had to do something.
I tried the remove & re-install option. It failed, so I uninstalled and followed instructions to download and install again. This appeared to work, but Norton 360 system tray icon says it is unprotected. Opening it up, it says I am protected.
If I look at the processes running, I see that both Norton 360 and Norton Security are running. Norton Security, which I am no longer subscribed to, says I am protected.
To make matters worse, my subscription says all 5 of my licenses have been used, despite my deleting old phones from my devices. The final straw is that it says that the subscription on my main win 7 PC has expired. It should be under the same Norton 360 subscription as my other devices, which do not expire until next January.
Please can someone suggest how to sort all this out?
