:heart:  Thank You Fixed

I googled redirect virus. I have spent 4 hours on two separate calls to Norton Support they couldnt find it. I ran Power Eraser found nothing. My file host file corrupted.

 

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc  Wow it was giving my brower info to everywhere I opened Notepad and it was screens full of websites my info was going. I did Microsoft Fix it to restore my file host to default. Restarted computer and Chat Opens up. Site was correct address.

 

Thank you giving me the idea it could be a virus. I have spent 6 hours on this resolved. :heart:

I'm sorry that it took so long  -  I didn't want to think it was malware, but sometimes that's what it turns out to be.

 

Can I suggest that you sign up with one of the free malware removal sites to ensure your system is completely free?
