Checking open port - timed out

Hi all -

Am setting up a DVR system (looks simple OMG) anyway I think I have everything in place doing a check here...

http://www.dyndns.com/support/tools/openport.html   it states that...

An attempted connection to  timed out. This typically indicates that traffic to that port is being actively blocked by either a firewall or your ISP.

 

i checked with big pond they said they were not blocking it and I turned off the norton firewall to check but still no joy.

Is there something else with Norton that I need to do (obviously I need to appy a firewall rule as well)

any assistance or direction would be appreciated. I did check the forum first but could not find anything specific.
