Chromebook & Chromebox support needed

I would like to get the Google Chromebook, and a Chromebox. But it will have to have Norton Family Safety Minder. Which I think is possible seeing extensions are possible with the Chrome OS. I'm seeing there are other Parental control Extenstions but none really compare to the Norton Family Safety Minder. So please give an update or progress report on the devloping of an extension for Chrome OS (Chromebook/Chromebox)
