Cloud.7.F high-risk ??

I downloaded the software for my new CanoScan 9000F Mark II (my DVD drive is broken). During the download, I got a pop-up from my Norton Internet Security. I installed the software, but the scanner wouldn't work. Device manager said that the scanner was working properly. I disabled the virus protection on my husband's computer and installed the software from the DVD. The scanner worked. Then I enabled the Norton and tried the scanner again. Norton removed "Suspicious.Cloud.7.F" and the scanner wouldn't work and I got the same error message as I had been getting on my computer. I restored the "Cloud.7.F" file and the scanner worked. I am concerned about this file since Norton listed it as "high-risk." This is a great scanner and I would like to keep it, but what kind of risk am I taking by keeping this file on a computer. {my husband and I both have Windows Vista}
