Cloud Backup is not backing up all the files in each directory even when they are all same file type

Cloud backup is not backing up all the files. I’ve had the most confusing mess of issues with Norton recently with behavioural protection not working and many re-installs. That has seemed to move me back and forth between two different GUI interfaces. The one I have now is the least helpful in terms of knowing “what” is going to be backed up. Its running backup as it was set automatically to do by Norton. I haven’t configured it in any way.

It backs up a load of my photographs which are nested in many levels of folders to keep them organised. In some cases it appears to only backup the first photograph in a folder and ignores backing up the other photographs in that folder. They are all standard picture file types.

There seems very little I can do in the GUI to make it pick up the other photos as they are in the same folder and the same file type.

Anyone experienced this or got any ideas how to correct it ?

Hello @AikidoScot

I must say having the ability to “add” files under an option that is titled “Excluded Files” seems a bit counter intuitive.

I added a couple of top level folders using the “excluded files” option and it now seems to be backing up what is under those folders fully and not partially as was the case before. Not 100% certain that nothing is missing due to the large number of files involved but at face value its working properly now.

Thanks all for the help.
