Are there plans to offer cloud backup to MAC users anytime soon?
Have you selected all the drives when you selected What to backup? Its on the left side of the screen.
Why not do away with the added expense/headaches and use Macrium Reflect to image the entire drive? Been using it for years, its simple to install and use. Updates just as any other quality product should. I backup to an external USB drive for safe keeping. Separate drive images can be stored on the same backup devices and labeled. The storage limit will be limited to the amount of storage your backup drive has. Just an added thought and suggestion.

as far as I know:
Norton 360 plans come with a fixed amount of shared storage space.
Upgrade to a higher plan to get more storage space.
Remove previously backed-up files to free up storage space.

Hi,
The only way to get more backup is to go from deluxe to premium (or higher if you can find Platinum), but its not really worth it. 100 GB (premium) wont backup much, you are better off buying backup from a different company.
Presuming you're backing up the same folders/files.
Maybe, data encryption / compression are different.
If you are logged into Windows with an Admin user account, open Windows Explorer and click on This PC in the left pane, then double click on the Norton Backup Drive in the right pane.
Then double click on your backup set and you can navigate through the backup set to see what is there.
In your system file manager look for a directory labeled "Norton Backup Drive", Click it, it will ask you to "authenticate" your credentials to view the contents of files you have backed up. Hope that answers your last question.

What was provided by the other Community member was useful, but I still don't know whether it's possible to view/access whatever it is that Norton backed up. I hope someone knows the answer to that.
Hello vulpus. Hoping this article will give you the answers you are looking for:

We have been asking for this feature since ages. I have 360 Premium with 100 GB cloud back and it's useless as I use Apple products only!! It's no rocket science, is it?
I found it. You have to go to the classic view, click settings, and uncheck "backup status overlays."
Using a Windows admin account, open Windows Explorer. Click on This PC in the left pane, then double click on Norton Backup Drive. Double click on the backup set you want to manage. Be patient as this information needs to be loaded and unencrypted from the cloud storage. Once the folders and files are displayed, you can right click on any files you want to delete and click on Delete.
HOW can I purge folders/file from backup? The instructions for Norton Backup are the worst I ever encountered!
The thread will be moved when a forum admin looks at the report I sent. The correct board for this issue is here. https://community.norton.com/en/forums/norton-360-secure-vpn
What about folders/files that I deliberately delete after a backup run? Will they be deleted in the cloud backup as well? After a certain time?
No. The files/folders are retained in the cloud storage because the app cannot tell if you deliberately or accidentally deleted the file from your computer. You can purge any unwanted files from the backup storage manually when needed.
Sorry, but nowhere it says this is a mobile product forum. I just clicked on the link received on my laptop to join this forum.
Where is the appropriate forum board? Can you send me a link?
As this is not a mobile product issue, I have asked this thread be moved to the appropriate forum board.
When you first run the Backup setup, there are default file types that will be backed up from your system. If you do not want those defaults, you can uncheck each file type and choose to add folders and files manually.
If a folder is being backed up, all files within that folder are backed up. And when you add files to that folder, they too will be added to the backup.
