   Thanks for quick reply.
I posted this question because when instance of comHost.exe is runed it writes an event log in Even Viewer but this is not a problem.
Problem is that when a go to Even Viwer to check this entry and I point to comhost entry,Event Viewer crashes and "tell" me that "Event Viewer can't load snap in" and then give me a solution to continue to run Ev.View. without logs or to report this error to Microsoft.
For now, only "cure" for this is clearing all events under Windows Logs---Application

I suggest that you report this to Microsoft. They may already have a solution for this and you should be notified when you submit it.

I notice that this process is runing (rarely) and my question is what is comHost.exe and what is purpose of this process.Process is runed by NIS 2008 (15.5.0.23)

Path to this exe is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VAScanner and description for this is COM Aggregation Host
This exe file have a digital signature by Symantec and I asumed that is not a malicious file.

seems to come up when you run Security Inspector from the Norton Menu.

It's apart of NIS2008, nothing to worry about, what does it do, beyond me.
