Command Prompt pops-up non-stop

Hello everyone,

I’m creating this post to let the newcommers know how to stop the non-stop pop up of the Command Prompt each happening every 20min or so.

This is really easy to do.

Really useful for Norton 360 for Gamers.

This are the steps you have to follow :

  1. Open Windows start menu and type Task scheduler

  2. Search the name of NortonCleanupTask

  3. Right click on it and go to Properties

  4. Now go to the tab Triggers (I have my PC on french so i dont know the real name in english), its the 2nd tab.

  5. You will see a Trigger there, you click on it and Modify

  6. Once a new window pops up, u need to modify the Task Launch part, i have it on At the opening of the session

  7. Then you click OK

And its done. Thanks for reading.

One more optional step you can do is creating another Trigger on the hour you want.

Enjoy not having a Pop-up every 20min.
