Good afternoon!
I was browsing a web site today and suddenly norton popped up with about four or so alerts saying "___ file is safe" when I wasn't downloading anything on said web page. I clicked the arrow to find the location of the dowloads, cleared them out, and then cleared my recycle bin. I'm running a full-system scan right now as well as using the power eraser, but I was wondering if I could get any answers as to whether or not my computer should be okay.
My laptop isn't acting strangely, aside from my wireless adapter dropping my connection frequently, but that was an issue I've had since I've gotten the computer, so I'm not entirely sure if that has any relation to what picked up on norton.
I went through my downloads folder and didn't see anything unfamiliar, and I uninstalled the web browser I was using at the time (I switch back and forth from chrome to firefox).
Any information as to whether or not I have anything to worry about would be great! Thanks, guys!
