Hi all
I run NIS (latest version) on my home network but also work from home using a laptop supplied by my employer. I am currently doing some work for an external client and require access to an SQL Server database on their VPN - I must connect to this using my work laptop. I can connect to the VPN OK, but cannot then remote desktop onto the client's server - I'm wondering if this is being blocked by NIS.
My question is this: how do I configure internet access for an application that resides on a PC that is not the one running NIS? In the firewall configuration screen I can only see applications that are running on my home PC.
Thanks

Hi Captain_Gadget,
The Norton Firewall and Network Security Map only manage traffic into and out of the computer on which Norton is installed. Norton has no presence on your network or router and would not affect other computers connecting out.
