In recent months, I have found that having my Dashlane password manager extension active in either Firefox or Chrome results in serious audio and video (and, often, mouse) stuttering and slowdowns whenever the browser loads a site which opens video clips or intensive graphics. I have been using Norton Security (completely up to date) throughout. When I disable Dashlane extension, the problem vanishes. When I enable Dashlane but disable Norton Security's Intrusion Prevention, the problem vanishes. When both Dashlane and Intrusion Protection are active, big trouble ensues.
I love Dashlane for password management and I love Norton Security for protection. I don't want to have to give up either of them. Any hope of getting them to work together nicely? Ideas are welcome.
